About Us
Born in 1920s Ōsaka. Raised in Jumeirah.
Mimi Kakushi — 耳隠し, “the hidden ear” — opened behind the noren of Four Seasons Resort Jumeirah in 2022. The room is a reconstruction of a Taishō-era Ōsaka kissaten after midnight: amber light, cedar, charcoal smoke, and conversation you have to lean in for.
We keep twelve omakase seats, three tatami rooms and a bar that answers in whispers. In daylight, we cook for the whole country — our catering teams leave Jumeirah every morning for all seven emirates.
